Have You Touched Christ

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. (Mark 5:25-32).

Are We Nothing Bettered?

We can try all things to heal ourselves of issues in our life. We reason if we just do this, or that it will all work out. We can even say just have faith. We have to be careful hoq we define faith. This woman had a faith that caused her to act on and risk world repurcussions. Everyone tell you it wont work, ir define how Christ will work in your life. In the end, it is between yoi and Christ, a personal relationship.

Do we feel when we pray, like her desire "...if I may but touch..."? Do we pray to God not in vain, but expecting God to deliver us in his way in his time.

How Do We Touch Christ?

We all have touched Christ during our lives. When we sin we are hammering nails into his body. We are crucifying him on the cross. Then for Christians, we touch Christ when we reach out in faith and believe in his promise. When we pray expecting a response. God is real to us. We should pray with an expectation of His will in our life. Not necessarily what we want.
