He Is Alive

Thoughts today about road to Emmaus again. How Christ was walking with them in their uncertainty. Then when he let them see him, alive risen from the dead. I was thinking about that same uncertain road I was on for few years. Sometimes these roads are not measured in miles, but measured in how rough the terrain is, the time it takes on them. The toil it takes on us. But then that moment when he showed himself to me, when the spirit opened my understanding of scripture to what my thoughts had been on, my trials, my tests of faith. It was in a way Christ showing me he was indeed risen, he was alive in my life.

I can read and study bible for years at time, feel spirit teaching, but this was a teaching on questions I had for years on struggles. He was alive to me more than I had already believed. It is difficult to explain, but thought I would want to capture these thoughts today for further thoughts down the road.
