Wisdom = Tree Of Life

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. (Proverbs 3:18)

Just sitting down this morning recovering from all the busy things in life that distract me from being in God's word. Quite house, everyone still asleep, see dad's bible sitting on the fireplace mantle I decide to sit down and read a little. Just randomly open to Proverbs 3 and notice dad's handwriting at top page.

He had written a note, "Wisdom = Tree of Life", and added marks to verse 18; (She is a tree of life). I never really thought much about wisdom in the context of being a tree of life. We hear references throughout the bible about wisdom. It is an interesting context to meditate on, and find bible references. How deep is wisdom roots in my our life, and what has grown from it? What is still growing from it? How is the fruit from it? Several aspects to think on.
