Dad Preaching

I stumbled across this reel in Facebook of dad preaching long ago. Hearing dad talk about kitchen table talks, made me remember another clip of him testifying about being at the kitchen table talking with God about wanting to teach others about grace. I think it was the only time in my life that I heard my dad emotional.

When we are emotional about something we are showing that we believe very strongly in it. So as I reflected on dad's kitchen table talk, I remembered a late night/early morning dining table talk with God that I will never forget. A moment when God opened my understanding of scriptures , showed me his works in my life, and much more. I was exhausted, but then suddenly overwhelmed when out of no where he shows me things I had been praying about for few years. A moment when I went to lay down under the table to rest because I was so tired. A moment when I was so overwhelmed with answers that I asked him to stop because I wouldn't be able to remember it all; but he followed me under the table and showed me so much more.
