Sound of Silence

Listening to a song, my memory went to a time in my life when I felt God's silence. I prayed and heard nothing. Never mistake Gods silence for absence.

This lasted several months, and I needed an answer now. God spoke, directed my paths, and later showed me that he saw me under the fig tree. There was a difficult path he knew I needed to take to really hear every word of god. To really be fed from manna above.

Sometimes we never really hear until there is silence.

Thank you, God, for thy word.
