May Glorify Him

God Has a purpose for me --- perfect purpose. (God can't make an imperfect purpose).

Watching TV show (BYU ...lady) --- at the tomb Mary didn't recognize Jesus until he said her name. Part of my testimony is I didn't know Christ until he said my name. "I was your friend Mike". Those words opened up my eyes, to my sins, and my need for a savior.

Another story---Jesus didn't respond to the woman at first, testing her faith. Didn't tell her to depart, ...dogs tested her faith more---she passed and healing. (daughter possessed)

Church Sermon I Samuel 17. David ran at Goliath. God tests Faith. How will you run on your test. Your challenges. Your Forgiveness, Your Hatred, or Your Anger.

John 11:40 Jesus raised Lazarus for God's Glory. How will you run at your test? Will it be for God's Glory or your glory? Will it be for God's glory, or your feelings, your emotions, or your well-being?

At church, I Samual 17; "God in Israel". To me ---> Holy Spirit in Us. (God in Me).

David glorified God so that the whole earth may know Him.

Men go to battle differently; based on the skills God gave them. God used David's skills. Some don't even engage in the battle, and lose. Be prepared for the battle, the spiritual battle.

Colossians 2:1 Paul prayed for comfort .... knit together in Love. Why did God choose disciples with different backgrounds and different skills?

Job 28:12 --> But where shall wisdom be found? Where is the place of understanding?

Job 28:28 ---> ... Fear of Lord is wisdom ... depart from evil is understanding.

Job 31:12 ---> ... fire that consumeth to destruction ...and would blot? out all mine increase.

Job 31:1 ---> I made a covenant with mine eyes, why then should I think upon a maid.

Job 31:4 ---> ...doth not he see my ways.

Job 31:7 ---> ... mine heart walked after mine eyes.

Job 31:10 ---> Then let my wife grind unto another and let her bear down upon her.
