Psalm 44:10 -

WHAT DID WE DO LORD?

10 Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy; and they which hate us spoil for themselves. 11 Thous hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast sacrificed us among the heathen. 15 ... My confusion .... before me. 21 Shall not God search this out? ... heart 22 ... killed all day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter...

A poetic way to say God is not a good shepherd.

23 Awake, why sleepest thou? 24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?

Minister points out that scholars don't know who wrote this Psalm. David in his Psalms always knew why God was doing something but this one seems to be not knowing why suffering. Refers to Paul visiting this chapter, and speaks to this.

Song: Zions Hymns; Walking With God, Page68.

Prayer. Thanks God for keeping this in the bible, which shows people saying that you are not a good shepherd.

Thought: This Psalm shows God lets you have feelings against Him, Life Hurts at times....
